Intelligent Systems Corp has reported fourth quarter net profits up at $1.2m including a gain of $3.0m from the sale of stock and a write down charge of $1.0m, from profits of $216,000 last time that included a gain of $1.3m for the sale of a unit, on revenue that fell 35.4% to $5.1m; net profits for the year to December 31 were up at $4.2m, including a similar gain of $6.9m and charge of $1.0m, from profits of $147,000 last time that included a $1.3m gain on the sale of a unit and $818,000 on sale of shares, on revenue down 16.2% to $23.7m. Net per share rose 475% to $0.23 in the quarter, and were $0.80, up from just $0.03 last time, in the year.
