COMPANY RESULT: IMATION CORP

Imation Corp, Oakdale, Minnesota imaging and information company, reported first-quarter net income up 97% at $12m on revenue down 4.9% at $547.7m. Earnings per share for the quarter rose 114% to $0.30. Figures for the first quarter of 1996 include one-time charges of $6.1m.
