Earthlink Network Inc, Pasadena, California-based internet service provider, has reported a fourth-quarter loss of $22.5m on revenue up 138.4% at $58.3m, compared to a loss of $6.6m in the year-ago quarter. For the year, net loss was $59.8m on revenue up 117.5% at $175.9m, against a loss of $29.9m last year. Results include one-time transaction and amortization costs of $17.7m and $42.6m for the quarter and year, respectively. Charges aside, loss for the quarter was $0.17, two pennies better than the First Call estimate of $0.19.
