COMPANY RESULT: DELL COMPUTER CORP

Dell Computer Corp, Round Rock, Texas, has reported fourth- quarter net income up 49.1% at $425m on revenue up 38.4% at $5.17bn. For the year, net income rose 54.7% to $1.46bn on revenue up 48% at $18.24bn. Earnings per share rose 55% to $0.31 for the quarter and 64.1% to $1.05 for the year.
