COMPANY RESULT: COMPUSA INC

CompUSA Inc, Dallas-based computer hardware and software retailer, has reported second-quarter net income down 54.3% at $15.6m on revenue up 21.9% at $1.78bn. Six-month net income fell 58.8% to $23.7m on revenue up 19.6% at $3.17bn. Earnings per share fell 52.8% to $0.17 for the quarter and 56.7% to $0.26 for the six months.
