COMPANY RESULT: CABLE & WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS PLC

Cable & Wireless Communications Plc, the newly formed UK cable operator, has reported net losses for the six months to September 30 of 135m pounds down from profits last time of 43,000 pounds on revenue that increased by 12.4% to 1.1m pounds.
