COMPANY RESULT: C-CUBE MICROSYSTEMS INC

C-Cube Microsystems Inc, the Milipitas, California-based digital video chip company, has reported third quarter net profits up 35% at $13m on revenues up 5.4% at $86.2m; nine-month net rose 3.4% to $33.9m on revenues up 3.7% at $256m. Net earnings per share rose 36% to $0.34 in the quarter, up 3.5% to $0.88 in the nine months.
