COMPANY RESULT: APPLIED MICROSYSTEMS CORP

Applied Microsystems Corp, the Redmond, Washington-based provider of tools for designing and testing embedded software, reported fourth quarter net profits of $43,000 down from net profits of $201,000 last time on revenues up 2% at $9.6m; net losses for the year were $345,000 from profits last time of $1.9m on revenues down 5.4% at $37m. Net earnings per share for the quarter were $0.01.
