COMPANY RESULT: ANALOG DEVICES INC

Analog Devices Inc, Norwood, Massachusetts-based maker of integrated circuits for analog and digital signal processing applications, has reported first-quarter net income of $29.9m on revenue down 5.4% at $300.5m, compared to net income of $3.2m in the year-ago period. Earnings per share rose to $0.18 from $0.03. Year-ago results include a $37.1m charge from a change in accounting principles.
