CommuniGate Systems, a provider of unified communications technology, has launched Pronto! Mobile, a high quality mobile app that enables operators to deliver value added communication apps under their own brand to business and residential subscribers.
The Pronto! Mobile is a secure white-label mobile VoIP (mVoIP) app, which includes network address book (NAB), instant messaging (IM), group chat, file transfer and conference calling, which is owned, branded and controlled by the operator.
The offering also extends Pronto! [news] feature set to iPhone and Android devices enabling operators to deliver compelling HD Unified Communication applications to their subscribers on desktop, web and mobile devices.
In addition, the offerings enables subscribers to chat, send files, and make and receive phone calls in clear HD Voice, but under in the operator’s own branded application.
CommuniGate Systems marketing vice president Scott Stonham said the operators they speak to are trying to find ways to successfully deliver applications that their customers want in order to stop customer and revenue erosion from the OTT (over the top) providers like Google and Skype.
"The Pronto! suite of applications gives them what they need to succeed with the white-label high definition communication apps for the desktop, web and now mobile," Stonham said.
