CommonTime said that Windows Mobile 5.0 devices are proliferating within enterprises globally, and becoming known increasingly for their ability to deliver push email for Exchange 2003. However, for users who want to add Lotus push email, calendaring and the like to their Windows Mobile 5.0 devices, mSuite 4.1 is just the ticket, according to the company.

Several Windows Mobile 5 devices have hit the market including the i-mate Jas Jar, the first 3G-enabled GSM/GPRS mini-laptop phone with WiFi. The Jas Jar includes VGA screen, 520MHz Intel processor and 128MB of memory. The CommonTime development means enterprise workers using Lotus Notes can send and receive secure instant messages over the corporate server using the i-mate JasJar or other Windows Mobile 5 device if they have mSuite installed.

Wireless push email can also be used with Lotus Notes functionality such as follow up flags and room/resource booking, using mSuite calendaring functions on the device, CommonTime said.
