It is offered as an optional extension to version 3.0 of Command Technology’s SPF/PC, which emulates IBM Corp’s mainframe ISPF/PDF product. Cobol Source Analyst provides Cobol programmers with overviews of program logic, path analysis and multiple viewing options, it says, offering program navigation, outlining, analysis and syntax-checking features. Compatible with IBM’s Cobol-II, OS/VS, Micro Focus Plc, CA-Realia, ANSI-74 and ANSI-85 Cobols, it is $150 until year-end, $400 thereafter. SPF/PC is a personal computer emulation of IBM’s menu and screen management ISPF/PDF Interactive System Productivity Facility/Program Development Facility.
