Manhasset, New York-based Spectrum Information Technologies Inc is licensing its patented cellular data transmission technology to Command Communications Inc, which will incorporate it into its CelCom LinkII, a hardwired connector for use with portable cellular telephones to enable remote cellular phone-computer data transmission; Spectrum has also engaged investment bankers Smith Barney Shearson to help it look for acquisitions.
