Comdisco Inc’s disaster recovery arm has turned to Campbell, California-based StrataCom Inc for IPX 32 FastPacket systems for the backbone for its high-speed digital backbone network, being built to enable Comdisco’s customers to access spare computer equipment located throughout the US from one local point: the network, linking the company’s eight US disaster-recovery centres and 28 hot sites, is due to be completed by June 1991.
