Comdisco Inc, Rosemount, Illinois has told the directors of bankrupt leaser Continental Information Systems Inc that it is prepared to remarket Continental’s portfolio of leased computer equipment over a period of years. The Troy, Michigan company says that as well as the approach from a group led by Harold Geneen, which seems to want to take the company as a going concern, it has had expressions of interest in its assets or the company from Encore International Inc, Finalco Group Inc, Technology Finance Group Inc and Varilease Corp. Separately Encore, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan said that AT&T Credit Corp had completed acquisition of a 40% stake in the 130-employee leasing firm, and that AT&T has options on more.
