Comdisco Inc is diversifying from the fraught mainframe leasing business with a joint venture with MCI Communications Corp to lease business telecommunications equipment: the agreement gives MCI business customers access to Comdisco’s asset management services, and is part of MCI’s networkMCI initiative, the companies said; the lease programme offers terms on standard and non-standard MCI-provided premises equipment and man other products from approved manufacturers.
