Charlottesville, Virginia-based Comdial Corp is expanding its interests in computer-telephony integration with the acquisition of Acton, Massachusetts-based Aurora Systems Inc, privately-held developer of the FastCall line of telephony middleware and applications. A week ago, Comdial announced a letter of intent to acquire privately-held Key Voice Technologies Inc, Sarasota, Florida developer of voice processing systems for the computer- telephony integration market. Comdial, AT&T Corp, Harris Corp, Fujitsu Ltd, Mitel Corp and Northern Telecom Ltd all take Aurora software OEM. Terms of the deal, which is for cash and restricted shares, were not disclosed.
