COMDEX : NCR PRESENTS PCS BASED ON THE 16-BIT BIT 80386SX MICROPROCESSOR

Many of the companies showing new products at Comdex/Fall in Las Vegas announced the things in the past couple of weeks, but NCR Corp saved up its first personal computers based on the 16-bit bus 80386SX microprocessor for the show: the machines go under the PC916sx banners, and standard features include a 1.44Mb 3.5 floppy drive, VGA-based graphics and six expansion slots; a basic model of the new computer is listed at a pricey $5,200, for first shipments in January, NCR promises.
