Atlanta-based Resurgens Communications Group Inc has completed its purchase of all the equity and debt interests in Com Systems Inc owned by OmniCorp Holdings Inc and OmniCorp International BV for $30.75m in cash and notes: Com Systems, based in Westlake, California is a diversified telecommunications company providing long distance direct dial and operator-assisted calling, and other enhanced services to customers located in the western US and Resurgens is a telecommunications company that processes and transmits operator-assisted long distance calls from multi-telephone facilities such as hotels and hospitals and from pay telephones, and also provides operator services and billing and collection services to other long distance phone firms.
