Stamford, Connecticut-based Cognitronics Corp has bought Dacon Electronics Plc, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire-based supplier of speechprocessing equipment: the move is designed to provide greater balance for both companies, since Dacon serves the commercial market with incoming call management products, while Cognitronics serves the telephone operating companies; the financial details were not released.
