Cognilytics, a provider of decision sciences and analytics consulting, has signed a contract to use Virtustream’s xStream cloud management platform.
Using Virtustream’s micro VM technology, the solution is supposed to deliver a secure cloud environment for critical and production applications.
Gary Gauba, CEO at Cognilytics, said the platform would improve the speed and analytical performance for big data solutions.
"By adding xStream to our portfolio, and with access to Virtustream’s HANA Managed Service and HANA-Hadoop Managed Service, customers will have access to an on-demand enterprise cloud to deploy their advanced analytics solutions, without forfeiting security and compliance," he said.
Rodney Rogers, CEO at Virtustream, added: "Our solution provides the necessary tools for companies to increase big data capabilities, while ensuring secure, flexible and cost-efficient on-premise and/or hosted cloud environments."
Cloud Spectator’s latest report for the IaaS sector found that Virtustream outperformed 14 IaaS leading providers from Garnter’s Magic Quandrant.
