Cogecom, the holding company for France Telecom, reported that its 1993 revenues rose 8.2% over 1992 to about $3,000m. The revenues include $55m in business from companies consolidated for in 1993, making the rate of growth 6.2% in constant terms. Net profit, however, was down to $53m, from $68m in 1992. Cogecom said that it and its subsidiaries will continue to develop their activities in the following areas: business services, in particular with the establishment of the France Telecom-Deutsche Bundespost Telekom joint venture for international enterprise networks; cellular mobile services; and multimedia services to be aimed at residences and small businesses.
