We try to be consistent in the nuances of language used in Computergram but it’s not much use if subscribers don’t know the code, so for guidance, gossip is used in the context of items probability of which is around 50-50 or a little better, suggestions and strong suggestions are used in forecasts we believe likely to be fufilled, rumour means people are saying it but we don’t give it much credence.
