CODD & DATE TO HELP DEVELOPING BUSINESS SOFTWARE INTERNATIONAL DATABASE

Following the launch of the London SW-based company Business Software International last month (CI No 1,092) on the basis of a new distributed database it was developing, the company has made a deal with the relational theory experts Codd & Date to help develop the product: the architecture of the database is designed to enable users to draw on the collective processing power of networked desktop microcomputers without a central server, by means of the parallel processing of SQL queries.
