COBALT AND MIVA TO OFFER E-COMMERCE PACKAGE

By CBR Staff Writer

Cobalt Networks Inc and Miva Corp, formerly HTMLScript Corp (CI No 3,485), have announced that they will partner on inexpensive e-commerce solutions for web developers and ISPs. In the shape of the RaQ and the CacheQube, Cobalt already offers a couple of specific-purpose servers based on its celebrated blue Linux box, the Qube (CI No 3,440). Now the company has bundled both the Qube and the RaQ with Miva’s Empressa XML-based scripting engine and Merchant storefront management system. The companies say they can offer the bundle at prices starting from under $2000.
