CNET, the popular computer information site is to start using multimedia software from Israeli firm Geo. CNET will use Creator and Video, two of the products in Geo’s Emblaze technology which allow multimedia files to be streamed over the internet without the need for plug-ins or complicated server software. Geo which is listed on the London Stock Exchange raised $37m earlier this month from a public share offering.
