CMGI SNAPS UP I/PRO & MERGES IT WITH AD FIRM ENGAGE

Veteran web traffic measurement company Internet Profiles Corp (I/Pro) has been acquired by internet investment house CMGI Inc, which will merge it with Engage Technologies Inc, the online marketing company it bought in 1997. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. I/Pro president and CEO Bradley Rode will continue in that post and report to Engage’s CEO Paul Schaut.
