The software, which supports 5000 transactions a second, should also ensure (unlike current systems) that customers can never send SMS messages unless they have sufficient credit. It dynamically checks individuals’ account balances, rather than batch-processing SMS charges.
Operators want to generate as much revenue as they can from their existing network investments. Prepaid mCharger allows them to do just that, through targeting the majority of their subscribers, says CMG’s vice president of customer care and billing, George Greenlee.
