The Rent Roll unit of Carrollton, Texas tax and accounting software firm Computer Language Research Inc has bought most of of the assets of Renter Index Inc, paying about $2.5m in cash for Renter Index’s non-cash assets and entered into employment and non-compete agreements with the sole selling shareholder and an additional key employee.
