UK-based CensorNet has landed £2m from a Series A funding round, with the raised funds earmarked for channel growth & bolstering R&D.
The round was led by London-based Talis Capital, with existing investors and management participating. Talis Capital co-founder, Vasile Foca, will join the CensorNet board as investor director.
The cloud security company specialises in visualising, controlling and protecting all internet activity and the use of cloud applications across all devices. The funding round will power the company’s next phase of growth, in parallel to the growing risks found in the increased use of cloud applications and mobile devices.
"The entire CensorNet team are pleased to be working with Talis Capital and we welcome Vasile to the board. We are confident their experience in SaaS and cyber security will prove invaluable as we continue to grow an exciting business," said CEO Ed Macnair.
