TIBCO joins forces with AWS

Company is making a 50% reduction in cloud-hosting costs.

By James Nunns

TIBCO has expanded its relationship with AWS as it looks to extend its reach in the cloud.

The company has joined the AWS Marketplace Consulting Partner program in order to help customers to connect with a number of TIBCO’s professional services.

The benefit of this is that customers which are purchasing through the AWS Marketplace will be able to get more help in optimising the configuration of their software.

TIBCO’s products, Clarity, Spotfire for AWS version 7 and Jaspersoft version 6.1 will all now be available.

According to Dave McCann, VP, AWS Marketplace, a number of customers had requested consulting partners in order to optimise deployments on the cloud service.

Karl Van den Bergh, VP, product and cloud, TIBCO Analytics, said: "We selected AWS as the core infrastructure for our cloud offerings as it provides a powerful range of cloud services that enable us to package our analytics solutions together for customer use quickly, securely, and efficiently."

"The result has not only been an enhanced customer experience for both our business and technical audiences, but also a 50 percent reduction in cloud-hosting costs for our company."
