Capgemini has today announced that it is adding identity as a service to its Cyber Security Global Service Line that will enable organisations to control how its employees, partners and consumers access services and information.

The product can deploy and maintain a single-tenant environment, both on premise or in the cloud, and the firm says it is fully compatible with the new generation of IT infrastructure, from traditional datacentres to hybrid cloud.

It combines Governance, Identity Administration, risk-based Authentication and context-aware Authorisation in a single identity and access management tool.

Franck Greverie, Global Head of Cybersecurity at Capgemini Group said. "Capgemini’s IDaaS offering takes away the complexity of identity security, bringing critical components together in one managed package to deliver a more seamless process for both user and operator."

The product will include both commercial and open source components, including RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance.

Jim Ducharme, Vice President of Engineering and Product Management at RSA said: "With RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance, Capgemini customers will have greater visibility into and control over how users access applications and data resources, helping to both reduce security risk and to ensure consistent enforcement of ever changing compliance requirements without sacrificing the ease of use and agility required by business today."
