Rackspace delivers new professional services for AWS cloud customers.

By Hannah Williams

Rackspace has revealed that its managed service offerings for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud have expanded to include a portfolio of Professional Services.

The new offering is in connection with Rackspace’s broader efforts to develop professional services, which will deliver end-to-end support and expertise to help customers shift workloads out of their data centres and into the world’s leading cloud platforms.

This includes The Fanatical Support for AWS Professional Services, which are tailored to support both new and existing AWS customers that may require customised expertise to help enable their AWS Cloud journey in areas such as architectural design, migrations, cloud automation and DevOps.

Prashanth Chandrasekar, VP & GM of Fanatical Support for AWS, Rackspace said: “We are seeing significant interest from AWS customers for specialised expertise in discrete, value added areas, and we are committed to developing our offers and capabilities to help them fully leverage AWS throughout the entirety of their cloud journey.”

The addition of the AWS Professional Services to the managed services for AWS will see the company’s certified architects and engineers working with customers to enable their journey to AWS. This is in plans to ensure they achieve maximum performance, agility and cost-efficiency throughout.
