First Rackspace went fanatical for Microsoft Azure, next came Amazon Web Services and now we have Google Cloud Platform.
The recently privatised Rackspace has continued to advance its strategy to be the number one managed cloud service provider by collaborating with Google Cloud on a new managed services offering for GCP.
Due to launch later this year, the managed support services will offer GCP customers cloud architecture support, onboarding, data migration expertise and operational support for customers in order to help optimise cloud application performance.

According to 451 Research the adoption of Google Cloud has nearly doubled over the past year, however, because Google doesn’t break out its numbers, it’s difficult to say how big the Google Cloud deployment actually is.
