Mirantis and Pivotal have partnered with the joint goal of making Cloud Foundry PaaS fast and easy to consume on OpenStack.
As a result of the partnership, Pivotal customers will be given the option of using Mirantis OpenStack, which helps to produce IaaS under Pivotal’s Cloud Foundry and its related products.
For Mirantis users, they will gain the ability to deploy the container-based PaaS solutions that will help to enable application lifecycle management.
The two companies will work together to develop and support the integration and delivery of other PaaS solutions along with the products’ respective toolkits to work together on DevOps production.
James Walters, VP, Cloud Platform, Pivotal, said: "Our joint customers are seeking open, bleeding-edge technologies to accelerate their software development and bring new products to market faster."
