Nutanix is releasing a try before you buy system that will allow customers to test its platform on AWS or Google.
The offering is based on its Community Edition software, which was released earlier in the year. The latest addition to it will allow IT departments to try the platform without having to buy any on-premise hardware.
The software is free to download and the company allows users to run it on-demand in the public cloud.
Created in partnership with Ravello Systems, it allows users to deploy on AWS or Google Cloud. The idea being that this process can take as little as 25 minutes for the user to be up and running and testing the software.
While the software is free, users do have to pay for the cloud resources that they use when running the test.
