Infosys Finacle is coming to Oracle Cloud as a managed service.
The banking platform from Infosys is designed to help banks run enterprise-class banking applications in the cloud.
Finacle can be used on demand for activities such as development, testing and training and will come with the choice of no maintenance.
Collaboration with Oracle means that Finacle can use the managed service for production environments through Oracle’s Database Exadata cloud service.
The idea is that users will be able to reduce infrastructure and application management costs by operating in the cloud. The reduced costs will be enabled by the pre-integrated suite of solutions, Exadata.
Banks that decide to use the platform can opt to utilise all of it or just specific services, such as payments while other elements can be accessed on-demand.
Infosys Finacle is part of EdgeVerve Systems, a product subsidiary of Infosys.
