Informatica tackles multiple data silos with next-gen MDM

It is expected to be available in November.

Data integration software provider Informatica has launched a master data management (MDM) solution for the age of engagement.

Informatica MDM 10.1 is the new version of the company’s MDM solution, which allows enterprises to analyse, understand and use relationships between people, places and things.

The latest version of the multidomain MDM platform is anticipated to be available in November this year.

It will improve the business and data steward experience with a user interface, high-performance search and enhanced collaboration.

Informatica has also enhanced four master data-fueled applications that include Customer 360, Product 360, Supplier 360 and Cloud Customer 360 for Salesforce.

The apps, which feature the Informatica Intelligent Data Platform and MDM architecture, complement existing apps like Salesforce, Marketo and SAP ERP.

The new release of Informatica MDM – Customer 360 will accelerate onboarding of customer data from several sources.

It will automate the creation of trusted customer profiles and future-proof customer-centricity strategies with flexible technology.

Informatica MDM – Product 360 allows collaboration across business users like merchandisers, product managers and marketers, with individual users’ dashboards and task driven views.

It supports omni-channel commerce with commerce templates to Demandware, Oracle ATG, IBM WebSphere Commerce and Google Shopping.

Supplier 360 provides a single, trusted source of business-critical supplier data for analytic and operational use.

Informatica Cloud Customer 360 for Salesforce provides a consolidated 360-degree view of Salesforce and enterprise data, including hierarchies. It validates email, phone and address data in real-time and batch.
