HP wants to manage your Oracle cloud apps

Helion Business Applications customised for software vendor.

HP has release a product intended to help customers manage their Oracle application workloads in HP’s cloud service.

Helion Business Applications for Oracle will include set price cloud configurations for several Oracle products, including software from the E-Business Suite, and the PeopleSoft and Fusion Middleware ranges.

Robert Hildenbrand, VP of Oracle Applications Services at HP, said: "We continue to see a rapid uptick in clients that are moving their critical business applications to cloud-based solutions, as they seek to benefit from improved flexibility and reduced TCO (total cost of ownership).

"HP’s Helion managed cloud solutions offer our clients an enterprise-grade cloud solution that allows them to deploy a wide portfolio of applications into the cloud."

The launch will also include advisory services to aid with migration to the cloud, application provisioning flexibility, and support for most other Oracle apps, middleware and databases.
