HDS converges on cloud

Pushing workloads to the cloud does not mean risking losing control of the data or costs.

By Cbr Rolling Blog

Converging on the cloud was one of the key topics discussed at a CBR Dining Club event held recently in London.

Steve Lewis, CTO UK and Ireland at HDS told an invited audience of C-level and senior IT management representatives from a cross section of vertical markets how services available from HDS mean workloads in the cloud can be managed effectively.

As enterprises consider moving to the cloud, the issues of cost transparency, control, security, access and retrieval are emerging as concerns. These topics were discussed in depth in a lively Q+A session which followed networking and dining.

Lewis told the audience: "You can choose your delivery and consumption model and opt for a converged infrastructure approach or for HDS Cloud Managed Solutions. The customer stays in control."
