Fujitsu expands G-Cloud offering

Fujitsu now has 71 offerings available across all four lots of the framework.

By James Nunns

The Crown Commercial Service has confirmed that Fujitsu has been awarded a place on all four lots of G-Cloud 6, the latest iteration of the G-Cloud framework.

This means that Fujitsu now has a total of 71 standardised offerings available, an increase of 10 on what they offered on G-Cloud 5.

The consolidation of Government IT frameworks as they move to GaaP and SIAM tower models of procurement is expected to see the demand for services increase within G-Cloud and the Government’s Digital Marketplace.

Steven Cox, Vice President, Public Sector at Fujitsu UK & Ireland, said: "Fujitsu has been a supplier of G-Cloud services since its inception in 2012 and we are proud to be awarded a place on the latest iteration."

"Fujitsu has seen a gradual uptake for its offerings using G-Cloud most recently to renew a contract for our e-Document and Records Management as a Service (EDRMaaS)."

"G-Cloud 6 and the Digital Marketplace will likely represent a tipping point and a cultural shift in procurement for central as well as local government. All public sector organisations can buy services from Fujitsu benefitting from for example, pricing on a per user basis, improved price transparency and shorter contract periods."

"G-Cloud 6 and the Government’s Digital Marketplace will reduce the time taken to buy services compared to other frameworks, helping to reduce the risk to Government and saving taxpayers’ money."
