FTSE firms & SMEs targeted in IaaS cloud partnership

News: DataCentred and Versutus deliver instant OpenStack public or private clouds.

By Joao Lima

Combining infrastructure as a service (IaaS) with an OpenStack cloud platform can lead to better business outcomes.

Targeting this, DataCentred and data storage virtualisation and disaster recovery firm Versutus have entered into a joint partnership.

The partnership will enable Versutus to provide its enterprise customers with a scalable white-labelled IaaS product powered by DataCentred’s OpenStack cloud platform.

Versutus‘ enterprise customers, which range from FTSE companies to SMEs, will have the ability to spin up OpenStack public or private clouds instantly.

With the venture, DataCentred will also aim at improving business continuity to its customers by adopting Versutus’ portfolio of copy data virtualisation, data back-up and vCloud, a disaster recovery tool.
