CipherCloud has announced that it has acquired core technologies from Anicut Systems which will expand its platform.
The technology from Anicut will enhance CipherCloud’s cloud discovery, data protection and monitoring platform through the incorportation of cloud risk rating and real-time detection capabilities to its cloud security platform.
Anicut provides cloud security analysis of real-time traffic by using machine learning to detect malicious insider and external threats.

The CipherCloud cloud security platform contains application discovery tools which provide aggregated reporting of cloud applications. This provides insights into understanding usage and behaviour, as well as managing usage risk.
Data protection and user monitoring are also included in the CipherCloud security platform.
