NHS Education for Scotland is moving to the cloud as it looks to deliver digital services.

The cloud service will be delivered through Fruition Partners UK and ServiceNow, and will help to support external stakeholders and partners in the health and social care community across Scotland.

ServiceNow’s software will be used to manage HR, facilities management and IT services, in addition to supporting the training and education services.

Fruition Partners UK was appointed to implement the cloud-based solution, having been sourced through the G-Cloud supplier framework.

A self-service portal has already been rolled out; it assists in helping employees’ to access training management systems and repositories of training material.

The service management technologies used to run this include incident and problem management, change management and a shared knowledge base.

The next phase of creating a unified platform across its IT systems will see the extension to HR and facilities management.
