Larry Ellison targets AWS, declares IBM & SAP ‘nowhere in cloud’

Never one to disappoint, Oracle’s Larry Ellison decided to declare two of its biggest competitors as being ‘nowhere in cloud’ before saying that AWS is its target.

All from a man who once said this about cloud: "Maybe I’m an idiot, but I have no idea what anyone is talking about. What is it? It’s complete gibberish. It’s insane. When is this idiocy going to stop?"

European MEPs vote to protect Snowden from extradition

The European Parliament has voted to ask member states grant protection to Edward Snowden, meaning that he could now theoretically be able to enter member states without fear of extradition to the United States.

You can now legally hack your own devices & cars

The US Copyright Office has granted exemptions to a provision of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), allowing citizens to hack their own mobile devices and car systems.
