Box shares a Coke in the cloud

News: Drinks company will integrate cloud service to support digital marketing.

By James Nunns

Coca-Cola is deploying Box to aid collaboration between staff, external vendors, partners and customers.

The deployment will be made available to 22,000 employees across any device.

The goal of improving collaboration is so that the company can streamline its digital-marketing workflow. This will help users to more easily work with internal and external parties, but it will also aid the development and sharing of large video, image and audio files.

Box’s open platform will help to unify information across the business, through applications. The cloud service will also be integrated with other cloud and on-premise solutions in order to support sales and digital marketing.

Alan Boehme, Global CTO, The Coca-Cola Company, said: "Our success depends on our ability to connect with consumers by providing them with a wide variety of options to meet their desires, needs and lifestyles."
