Bespoke security play helps Rackspace rise into the cloud

News: Data centre giant will tailor cloud cybersecurity to user needs.

By Charlotte Henry

Rackspace launched its Managed Security and Compliance Assistance to help customers with their data security in complex, multi-cloud environments, as it moves further into the cloud space.

The firm says it will work with firms to deliver a tailored solution to help them detect and respond to security threats.

The Managed Security product includes host and network protection, security analytics, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.

Cyberattacks are the new normal for companies and represent one of the realities of doing business today as technology becomes the lifeblood of our organisations," said Brian Kelly, chief security officer at Rackspace.

The firm says its tools will also help with compliance, offering configuration hardening and monitoring, patch monitoring, user monitoring, and file integrity management.
