G-Cloud 7 is to offer AWS, Microsoft Azure and Office 365 as managed services.

The services have been made available by iomart and will be supported by the company’s technicians.

The availability of these services will give public sector organisations access to the features and benefits of public cloud.

Managed by iomart, the company offers public, private and hybrid cloud services via its Pan Government Accredited CloudSure platform. CloudSure is built on VMware’s VSphere across the company’s UK data centres.

Managed cloud solutions from the managed cloud provider are also available to public sector organisations in Scotland under the Scottish Government‘s Hosting Services Framework.

The latest iteration of the government’s cloud service, G-Cloud 7, launched earlier in the week, last month sales in the service went past £806 million.
