Amazon offers unlimited cloud storage for $5

News: Storage deal valid for one year.

By CBR Staff Writer

Black Friday has kicked off with Amazon providing unlimited cloud storage for $5 with validity of one year, allowing users to store all their data in the cloud.

The company is also offering unlimited photo storage for a sum of $1 with one year validity, which usually has a standard price of $59.99.

The deals are only valid to users in the US, with Amazon Prime members getting the new offers on cloud storage and photo storage for free.

However, after the one year trial is over the price will change back to the full $60 a year.

The company is also offering its Kindle Paperwhite for $99.99, Amazon Echo for $149, and is giving major discount on Amazon Fire TV, Kindle and Kindle for Kids Bundle.

Recently, Microsoft took a different approach when it said that it will be curtailing several of its free and paid OneDrive storage tiers.

The company is putting a cap of 1TB of storage for Office 365 subscribers, which was previously unlimited.
