According to the company, the additional enhancements include kanban replenishments, automatic dock door control, new picking methodologies including pick by order and batch picking, improved scheduled job management, improved debugging and logging capabilities, performance enhancements, allocate complete and allocate together groups, ship complete and ship together groups, task grouping and wait points.

Click Commerce claimed that the WMX 2.0 is a flexible system that can easily adapt to changing business needs. It incorporates configurable and rules-based business processes, which gives companies the flexibility to adapt their warehouses to changing conditions. It is based on service oriented architecture (SOA), a modular design principle and allows companies to integrate with third-party systems, reducing implementation time and costs.

The company claimed that like the original product, Click Commerce WMX 2.0 addresses the challenges of complex and high-volume warehouse environments by providing more visibility and control.

In January 2007, Click Commerce launched a warehouse management solution WMX, which enabled companies to optimize processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
